UPCOMING EVENTS

~ Our founder, Tara Keeping, is a host for Shaw TV’s The Show.   Our last show, we interviewed Kevin Owens, Funeral Director and Owner of Evergreen Cremation Centre where we talked about unique and sustainable cremation options.  The show is on channel 4, show times are Tuesdays at 7pm, Thursdays at 4pm, Saturdays at noon and Sundays at 9pm. Check out local content and what’s happening around Vancouver Island on our magazine style show.  Hope you tune in 🙂 Our pilot show Keeping Green was filmed and aired for Shaw TV Victoria. Our first on location interview is with The Roost, preparing a dish of local food on their outdoor wood fired oven while tasting their wine cocktail. All local ingredients, it does not get any better or healthier–especially organic wine cocktails 🙂 We also had Dan’s Farm to discuss organic vs non organic and The Red Barn Market to discuss the importance of locally bought food. Also our Holiday Cooking Show with Elizabeth May was aired again this past Christmas.  We are involved in the new political program, Up Front, where we interviewed Mayor Ryan Windsor of Central Saanich.  Our next show will be with Mayor Alice Finall of North Saanich.  We are looking forward to chatting with her.

~We are looking forward to our ORCCA Board’s Appreciation Tea for our volunteers and donors at Canoe Cove Joe.

~We attended the Saanich Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Crystal Awards at the Butchard Gardens.  Always a well attended event celebrating the best of the best in business on the peninsula.

~We attended our first ever Tour of Industry, an annual event hosted by the Saanich Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.

~You can check us out in the new Peninsula News Review, Pearl, their new magazine and Times Colonist, Tie the Knot, new magazine.  We are also in Seaside’s new Professional segment of their October issue and their Women to Watch edition in March.

~We participated in the Nanaimo Magazine and the Voyager Magazine for their annual wedding feature.

~Our ad was featured in the Rotary Month in the Peninsula News Review.

~We were also featured in the Business Examiner. We were interviewed for a corporate event planning piece. We were also interviewed about trends in marriage—who is and isn’t getting married, for a local paper.
